When adding parts to a work order, ClickMaint has it set up so all you have to do is start typing and it brings parts up to chose from in a pop-up window. The problem is, the parts are being brought up by name only. I have multiple parts with the same name but different part numbers. unless i have the part's part number as part of its name, it won't come up. We should also be able to type in the part number and have the parts show up in the pop-up as well. The 3 categories of Name, Description, and Part Number should all cross reference with each other. We shouldn't have to have the same information on all 3 of those categories lines. It would be a little repetitive and redundant. Like when I type into the inventory search engine.

The ability to input technician schedules so when work orders are approved, they are auto assigned to the technician working that day.

The Description field strips or inconsistently preserves formatting when text is pasted. Bold headings, spacing, and bullets greatly improve readability for field staff. Request: Support basic rich text formatting (bold, bullets, paragraph spacing) or provide a formatting toolbar within the Description field.

Locations and Assets are in alphabetical order by default, including parent and all subs. It would be much easier to follow if alphabetical sorting only applied to parent Locations and Assets, where subs are housed in an expandable accordion or a simple outline hierarchy format where subs are indented. Parents and subs don't always start with the same letter - since they do not appear together in the list, it's confusing to follow.

Being able to add/link single or multiple parts to a scheduled PM eliminates the need to lookup parts to complete the task, should allow advance purchase/planning based on forecasted/upcoming PM schedule, and less line entries of parts after performing the scheduled PM. The linked Workorder would auto-populate the parts and allow the user to confirm/modify/add/remove items before submitting/closing the PM.

due to the number of rooms in the buildings we service, being able to follow a map to the malfunctioning asset would definitely help us get to the urgent issues quickly instead of comparing room numbers or names.

Without it being mandatory, it is challenging to have the team build the habit of adding time to WOs.
